World Changers comes to Watertown

The New Hope Baptist Church is a member of World Changers and is bringing this exciting volunteerism to Watertown under the guidance of Pastor Stan Gillcash.

The local chapter has cut their teeth on a house being rehabbed by Neighbors Of Watertown on the city's North side.  This house has sat boarded up for the past few years and has stood as a major sign of decay in this neighborhood.  The City of Watertown made the property available and the Development Authority of the North Country provided a construction loan at 0% interest for the main work scope under the Neighbors, DANC, City NDC Housing Partnership

The following businesses provided materials to assist in this rehabilitation project.  Without their generosity this project would not have been possible.

The Sherwin Williams Store

Minfelt Building Supply

State Street Hardware

P&M Construction

The National World Changers organization is coming to Watertown this summer to aid in the Near East Side Neighborhood Improvement District (NESNID) revitalization being undertaken by Neighbors Of Watertown.  Click the Watertown Week link to see pictures of this weeklong stay.

The following donors are providing cash and other support for World Changers work in Watertown this summer

The funds donated by these local businesses and organizations will buy materials for those that can't afford them and food for meals for the world changer volunteers.  We thank them all for their support of this great program.
