Whispering Angel

The newly-renovated Franklin Building on Public Square in Watertown has its first retail store.

The Whispering Angel recently opened in the historic building after being in the Salmon Run Mall for about five years.

The shop sells spiritual items, jewelery and more.

Owner Shelly Beyer says when Borders book store announced it was going to close, she began to look for a new space.

Now that she's settled in, Beyer says she couldn't be happier with her new location.

"I like the energy down here in the square and I always wanted to be down here," she said.

"It just came to a point where the opportunity arose and we jumped on it and came down here."
Whispering Angel is open every day of the week except Sunday.
