Neighbors Of Watertown, Inc. Rental Housing Rehabilitation Program provides financial assistance to help landlords make needed improvements to their rental apartments. Without this help, many of these properties would fall below acceptable levels of habitability.

 

     Program criteria include:
bulletThe applicant must own the rental property
bulletThe rental property must be located in the city of Watertown.
bulletThe work must bring the apartment building to meet codes and housing quality standards.
bulletThe owner will be required to provide at least 25% matching funds.

  Neighbors uses several Local, Regional, State and Federal sources to fund this program.  Rules, guidelines, eligibility, and grant amounts vary between sources.

    Neighbors Of Watertown's Rental Rehabilitation Programs cover the city of Watertown.  Eligibility is determined by criteria published for each individual program.

 

Neighbors Of Watertown began this program in 2005.  Due to overwhelming demand we will be applying for funds to continue this important housing rehabilitation program.
