10/14/01 Crews began removing the siding from Avon Shoes.
| The Avon Shoes building is the first of these three historic
facades that will be rehabilitated.
|
| The process began with an investigation from the
interior of the second floor (r).
Discussions were held with the owner, Renald Martini and the long closed up third floor was also investigated (below and below right) |
Following are pictures of the old facade being uncovered.
The covering is now off and the process of investigating the hidden facade and detailing the renovation work will begin.
Randy Crawford, program architect, and Greg Netto, Neighbors Rehab Specialist, discuss the uncovered details.
