Our Company Profile

Neighbors Of Watertown, Inc. is a 501 C-3 not-for-profit corporation that was formed in 1967 and incorporated in 1969 under the laws of the state of New York. Neighbors became a Neighborhood Preservation Company in 1981 funded by the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal with it's service area encompassing the City of Watertown.

Over the years, Neighbors has provided housing advocacy, counseling, referral, and related activities.  Services shifted to the rental housing arena in 1983 in response to a need for safe, decent, affordable housing. 

Our Services

Neighbors Of Watertown, Inc. is a full service Community Development Organization with ongoing programs such as First Time Homebuyer assistance, Home Rehabilitation assistance, Rental Properties, Rehabilitated Homes for purchase, Historic Building Rehabilitation and Community Development services. Services shifted to the rental housing arena in 1983 in response to a need for safe, decent, affordable housing.
