This Franklin Street house had sat boarded up and
surrounded by overgrown vegetation for some time.
The property was transferred to Neighbors Of Watertown,
Inc and a rehabilitation scope was put out to bid. The Development Authority of the
North Country provided a zero percent loan to Neighbors to complete the rehabilitation
work. Upon completion the property was sold to an owner occupant family and returned
to the tax roles.
Officials gathered to kick off
project. Comptroller McCauley, center right, is obviously thinking of new tax
revenue.
