It was a big day for 20 young professionals under the age of 40.
Thursday afternoon NNY Business Magazine honored 20 young and emerging leaders in the Northern New York community for the publications ’20 Under 40’ awards. The event was held at the Black River Valley Club in Watertown.
Local and state officials joined the group of young professionals, honoring them with a plaque from NNY Business Magazine and from Senator Patty Ritchie.
The following people received awards:
Reg Schweitzer — Co-owner, Maggie’s on the River, Chaumont Hardware and deputy director, Neighbors of Watertown Inc.;
Andrew Short — chief information officer and vice president of information services at Samaritan Medical Center;
Christine Cisco— vice president and Certified Financial Planner, RBC Wealth Management;
Leann I. West — government relations, Wladis Law Firm;
Brian J. Wohnsiedler — executive director, Jefferson County Soil & Water District;
Erika Flint — executive director, Watertown Urban Mission;
Lynn M. Pietroski — president & CEO, Greater Watertown-North Country Chamber of Commerce;
Dan Dupee — vice president for administration and finance and treasurer, Jefferson Community College;
